Have you played, or even watched a single battle in Sun and Moon? Why do you think Gamefreak give a flying fuck about size consistency or realism when about 70% of Pokemon are nowhere near the size they should be when compared to the trainer?
Fuck, in the overworld itself there are examples of size inconsistency, like how the Pokeride Mudsale is half the size of Hapu's Mudsdale.
If you genuinely think the size proportioning is the only reason Gamefreak hasn't brought it back despite all the examples of retarded sizing in the main series so far, you might actually be an idiot.
