I mean. It's literally just Charizard without the flying type. Granted now he has some other toys to play with but I've never really got the love it gets.

Typhlosion is BSOAT. Not having a flying type means less weaknesses and a better design. Charizard isn't even the best of Kanto.

It'd be easier to say the least popular in each generation. Typhlosion wins 2 but Feraligatr is close behind, Mudkip memes and Blaziken are a mixup, Snivy/Oshawott lines are pretty much tied and excluding the clear winner in Rowlet then Decidueye/Primarina are also fairly close. I'd say gens 5 and 7 are the only ones where grass isn't the least popular.
