You do realize that ice punch is semi redundant on diggersby right? Return will ko what you are trying to kill with ice punch. I prefer quick attack to get the jump on revenge killers.

I like to surprise things like Gliscor with it. It reliably takes it out at full health most of the time, something which return can't accomplish. I've experimented with various moves in that slot, which I don't use too much anyway, and Ice Punch was the most satisfying one.

You assume I mainly play OU. But sure, let's go with OU. Skarmory can wall it pretty well, and with Heatran lurking around it's even riskier, especially since I get choice locked and have to give away a turn. Not much else is useful there but Knock Off, and I really like having that OHKO on Gliscor. Fucking hate that thing.

It's a silly, untranslatable pun. In Japan, there's a myth about rabbits on the moon making mochi (a Japanese rice candy). The Japanese name of the ability is wordplay that can mean either "huge power" or "mochi power". Hence why it goes to the rabbits.

Also, the demon that Mawile is very commonly depicted eating mochi in old Japanese paintings for some reason, so they figured that was enough justification for Mega Mawile to get it, too.

I knew the pun behind this ability but I always thought they just gave it to mawile because having 2 jaws made it look like some kind of monstrous rabbit.

In any case, why doesn't wigglytuff get huge power? it looks like a rabbit, evolves by moonstone, and it is in desperate need of a buff while other shitmons like torkoal and pelipper are out there getting weather abilities.

Also several moves away from being ou or Uber like fakeout and extreme speed (both is instant s/a+ tier ou or low Ubers). Same applies to polygon z and a 100+ BP normal moves.

I don't really understand why diggersby is BL and not just OU, it does a great job in OU and even 2HKO's landourus on the switch with a combination of return and quick attack not even factoring in stealth rock
