Anyone hate Otani's voicework as Pikachu in recent seasons? I hate the more "cutesy" approach she's been taking in regards to Pikachu recently (well, I guess it's not recent, she's been doing this since Hoenn by this point). I miss the slightly deeper voice she used.

I guess she's not entirely to blame though. Pikachu feeling less like a character with his own quirks and emotions ever since Johto and being reduced to a cute merch tool and Ash's yes-man also plays a part in it.
