Those .exe files are usually download accelerators filled with ads, there should be a checkbox somewhere you can check to download it directly.

I thought romhustler was full of viruses
I downloaded a rom from them a while ago and it filled my pc with a bunch of random shit, and I didn't see any tick boxes that said "I don't want this"
