I don't give it a second glance, but I was surprised when Serena kissed Ash. Even Pokemon is shipping their characters and I'm not really sure about it.

The worst part about the X/Y kiss is how onesided it was.
Pokemon will only tease at best because it gets what is essentially a hard reboot every 3-5 years.

It's hard for me to get too invested in shipping, since it's a kid's show with a revolving door of female sidekicks.
If anyone really thinks Serena is endgame and she's the last love interest Ash will ever have, they're in for a rude awakening eventually.
