Volbeat, Illumise, Burmy, Karrablast, Escavalier, Scyther, Scizor, Shuckle, Combee, Swadloon, Leavanny, Ribombee, Pheromosa, Armaldo and Dewpider all have faces that doesn't look arthropodian at all. Not to mention a shit ton of them have regular vertebrate eyes.
