>>33466363It's about the same as every pokemon game.
To explain it better than I would ever do (I will be honest with you, I'm not good at that, and I'm an ESL ), I'm gonna copy past the post of a anon who describe very well my general opinion:
>Because the main game can be fun. It's the catching a weak little critter, and raising it to be an absolute monster that's fun. It's catching them all that's fun. It's going from a town another town, seeing new places and conquering them one by one that's fun. It's seeing new aspects of the Pokemon world that's fun.Doing all of those at the same time is what makes Pokemon fun for me.
And more for SM:
>And recently, it's the meeting of new characters, seeing their lives and their conflict, helping them overcome it like a hero and building up new relationships that's fun.tl;dr The usual catching/raising monsters, discovering and exploring new places as much as I can, the story, and even more recently the characters.
I'm well aware of the flaws of SM that can bother a lot of people here, but they didn't affect my fun of the game.
