But also keep with the Gen1&2 adjustment:

Would be more interesting in Gen3+ games as you actually can see the abilities there and use them.

The only reason they could get away with giving your gen 1 and 2 pokemon their hidden abilities and some good IVs is because those pokemon didn't HAVE abilities originally, and the DV system is different from IVs. They're not going to do gen 3 VC or rereleases that overwrite attributes of your original pokemon upon transfer when they don't need to.

For as long as the Events lasted, yeah. If playing LG right now, the low level Jhotomons with the high leveled Kantomons makes it hard to grind.
