If I play showdown, I only use it against people I know/selective rooms. Go figure, autistic manchildren are the ones moderating a Pokemon battle sim. Other than that, I inject and go on cart. Maybe in USUM we'll have a better battling system so that simulators aren't used as much, but I have my doubts.
