If I wanted a grass team I would be forced to use my starter, even if I didn't want to, because Budew is the only grass Pokemon available until I get Honey, then I have to use Gen 4's dumbass honey system if I want a Cherubi/Female Burmy and pray I don't roll Combee.
I can't get Eevee till Hearthrome, and then would need to backtrack to Eterna forest for Leafeon, then I wouldn't encounter another Grass Pokemon till the Great Marsh, then pray I actually catch Tangela with his 5% encounter rate. Finally, Snover who's way past the 2nd half of the game.
Furthermore, I'd need to turn Turtwig into an HM slave and would have to do the Defog route with no Defog. I'm also pretty sure I wouldn't be able to complete Mt. Coronet due to the HMs required.
Jesus fuck, a Grass run of Sinnoh sounds like the worst possible run imaginable. Why do the fuck does anyone like that region?
