The idea was to create a way to allow perfect zyg to exist with aura break, at the expense of a moveslot.
>MaelstromHas 100 base power, 75 accuracy and traps the target for 4 to 5 turns, dealing a bit of damage at the end of each one of those turns. So yeah it's basically Heatran's magma storm but dragon-type. Stuff like lugia or rayquaza could use it, I guess.

It is basically a dragon-type skull bash, only that instead of defense it raises attack. While running a 2-turn dragon move nowadays seems like a really bad idea due to fairies and steel types, they don't prevent the attack raise, and a power herb strategy with it might be interesting. Alternatively, this was a high damage-high recoil move (dragon-type head smash).
