I know GoD improved on a lot of mechanics, and offered a more interesting selection of wild Pokemon, but it missed the point of what made Colosseum so great, which is that grungy, hostile, shady, wild-west atmosphere. Having the main character be an edgy renegade was a great move in establishing all of that, and GoD's return to a friendlier, more typical Pokemon journey killed a lot of the charm for me.
Still an amazing game, but I prefer Colosseum more.
