TPC/i handles brand management - dealing with the advertising as well as all of the merch from the TCG to plush toys, and whatever else they've got going on, and even doing some game development themselves.

mostly if not entirely separate entities again and give us lots of places to explore, I would add a caveat to that. Make it open world, but do it right.
Flags should be present for at least the gym type things so as to make sure trainers and future gyms aren't all weak as fuck the further you get along like BotW stupidly did for it's main dungeons.
