Specifically, I'm wondering about things like having Gyarados follow you. I doubt they're going to cover shit like this in the announcement today, so do people with more programming knowledge/insight have any idea how this sort of thing works?

I hope it's not just a tiny version of a large pokemon. That would be kinda dumb. Either way this is going to be the best Direct ever. Fucking following pokemon finally making a comeback baby!
