Battling is the only remotely fun part of pokemon games. Spamming a STAB/Super effective move to one-shot every trainer, wild pokemon, and elite four member is for the brainlets and 7 year olds.

Fire fang hits steel types that wall rock, especially stuff like Ferrothorn and Scizor, who you can't just tack on Brick Break and beat. Thunder Fang is nice for water types who threaten you but on paper maybe won't be as useful because nothing that's hit SE by electric is resisted by rock.

They didn't want to knock out the Tapu Koko probably because the terrain breaker effect doesn't apply if the move ends the battle.

Pikachu and Marshadow are events for Sun and Moon, you get them the normal way you get events.

All of the Pikachu (besides the 7th one for the new movie) will expire before USUM are out. Marshadow's codes will probably last long enough to redeem in the new games.

This is strictly conjecture but I think it has to do with it's hidden ability. Own tempo is rockruffs hidden ability so it'd make sense for this to be the deciding factor. Because 1 it gives a specific requirement for dusk and 2 it gives us access to mid day and midnight's hidden abilities

We all know that midnight Lycanroc would benefit the most from the Z-move because it has no guard. And you need to have the move stone edge to use the Z-move. No one in the right mind would put stone edge on the other forms unless they like missing attacks.
