Can we talk about the plot in Sun and Moon? I know no gen has had an amazing plot, but this one was the only one I had zero investment in. The threat was revealed far too suddenly and dealt with far too quickly. We never saw any of the effects of the UBs being released and it seemed like no one really cared that a bunch of giant aliens were released onto their region, so why should we? And the only reason you go into the ultra dimension is to save Lusamine, a completely uninteresting and over-the-top villain that I couldn't care less about. As the post-game reveals it would actually have been fine if you had just left her and caught all the UBs. Maybe if you had to go into the ultra dimension in order to close the portals and stop 1000s of UBs coming in, and we actually see the destruction they are causing, there might be a reason to give a fuck.
