I have to agree with this. DP were the only games that turned my off pokemon for a while, it was the only time I didn't get the third version at launch. I'm finally playing through Platinum now, hopefully it will redeem gen 4.

For me Black/White, besides it had until now THE BEST ending, its just that, there were no exciting new features, post was lame as fuck, not any kind of rematches besides elite4. Good thing that B2W2 redeemed that blounder.

But have the feel that USUM is going to be even more dissapointing that BW.

This, but I still enjoyed them to some degree, just like every other game. Definitely my least favorite main line games. Monster designs are why I play pokemon, and DP introduced around 3 that I like.

The mining game, the super contest and the physical/special split made me enjoy this game a lot. Also it has the best cold area in the entire series. D/P were good games

Infinite TMs were very exciting, it also had the best item finder in the series in my opinion

Being so story oriented the postgame was a nice change, being able to just go to places and explore while being rewarded with TMs from the sages was pretty great, it also had good postgame levels unlike HGSS
