Which Game is best if I wanted to do a mono Bug-Type challenge?

I originally wanted to do a run in Heart Gold, but the jackass I lent my cartridge to a year or so ago did something to it because my DS doesn't recognize it anymore. It looks kinda janked up on the underside, I tried cleaning it with alcohol and a Q-tip but it doesn't seem to have any effect, I'm pretty irritated because HS was my favorite installment.

I then was going to try White, but looking online I don't think you run into a single Bug-type pokemon until a few gyms in, what the heck?

What would you suggest?
