>>33541603I think it's the colors. The original schemes are really gaudy and clash hard, particularly the gold trim and Lunala's pure white "skeleton" right up against its purple drape. Solgaleo's awkward spacesuit joints do it no favors either. The soft yellow and blue glows enveloping the Necrozma forms gloss over those details really well.
