>>33541944Following Pokemon was a neat addition that helped you get immersed into the world. The Pokemon games are never very immersive to begin with though, so it may feel useless to some people, but I thought it was nice.
Super Training is useless considering regular EV training was extremely easy in XY/ORAS, and much faster, too. Reset bags were nice, but you can still reset them with berries. Though they're much more inconvenient, I agree.
Challenge Mode and Battle Frontier both fit the same itch for a more challenging game, the first for the main story and the latter for post-game. I'd say Battle Frontier is the best out of the two due to the bigger variety of game modes, but the challenge in the main story is appreciated, too.
PSS was definitely one of the most convenient additions to the game. It avoids you taking the time to go to a Pokemon Center, plus it has features like Wonder Trade, GTS and O-Powers already incorporated.
VS Seeker helped a lot with grinding.
DexNav was also a neat addition but it also felt useless considering you can just breed the Pokemon you want and get rare Pokemon from WT/GTS.
I'd say PSS was definitely the one that hurts most, followed by the Battle Frontier/Challenge Mode, VS Seeker afterwards, Following Pokemon/Dexnav/ Super Training all in last place.
