I think most people here are stubborn enough that they'd refuse to consider it possible, no matter what happened. It's fine to have doubts and criticisms, but a lot of /vp/ users seem to relish in seeing their negativity validated.

It won't but I'd be happy if I was proven wrong. They could start by:

-smoothing out the framerate
-post-game
-less linear story
-rebalance some pokemon
-buff Fighting, Rock, Bug and Ice types
-bring back following Pokemon
-Challenge Mode
-Rotation battles
-Inverse battles
-bring back diving
-new Megas for non-Kanto pokemon

the inclusion of zygarde in sun & moon was poorly done, would be neat to see whether usum expands on zygarde's role and finally makes the complete form permanent
