No, the boxes come with a "Celebi Blocker" that prevents you from getting the code when you download the game.

You have to get an eshop purchase recipe to get a celebi code. I'm just not sure if you get this recipe when redeeming a game code - never done that before

You have to enter your Gold/Silver code in E-shop to download your game. You should get a receipt in your menu.

The Celebi code is on the receipt.
