STORY SO FAR:
>/vp/ controls a yet to be named character who lives in haven creek, a small town in the mahhso region with his/her father, professor tamarack, and his/her older sibling of the opposite gender
>the mahhso region (pic related) is an arctic coastal region directly north of unova, and is far more industrialized than anywhere else in the pokemon world. it is a hotbed for scientific research and home to many unique species of pokemon found nowhere else.
>professor tamarack is one of the more famous scientists in the region, having devoted himself to the study of curing pokemon diseases
>his most recent breakthrough is in isolating the enigmatic organism called pokerus, but before he publishes his research he needs a fellow professor to analyze it
>he has chosen to send /vp/'s character and his/her older sibling to glimmerport city, just a short ways away, to deliver his research and a sample of the pokerus to meet with his colleague
