Holy shit that's a really miserable existence. Now it also makes sense why it would not only attack Solgaleo/Lunala but also fuse with them. They are able to store and use light as energy aswell.

Combined with the concept art that shows how fucked up is its body, this new info makes me think fusing with Solgaleo/Lunala it's just Necrozma's way to deal with the pain that is its own existence
