Prisms in the Japanese logos are Necrozmas equivalent to Zygarde Cells. As soon as you evolve Cosmeon, Necrozma appears to absorb them but since there is something good still in it, you have to fight it until it joins your side. Collecting the "Prism Items" lets you give Necrozmas forms a new ability letting it change in battle like Zygarde
