It'll involve a soft reset plus replacing the parents according to the rules of the guide. The parents' nationality and the holder of the destiny knot is important; you also want to be sure the same gender species are put into the daycare with ditto if you're using one (although the opposite gender could theoretically be put in with ditto).
If you've saved either since hatching it or since collecting the egg you're screwed I'm afraid.
