Oh my god the developers are acutely incompetent at programming.

You will get a sligHtly more HD version of what you see in SM/USUM. They'll probably have to make the camera dynamic. And that's it.

I'm sure they'll make "Neo Red and Neo Blue" look great...

Cell shading improved the look of Link's model in BoTW and made him easier to 'read' against the beautiful setting. Also since a lot of Pokemon are cartoony I think it would work better for them too

I can agree it could look like shit because of Gamefreak, but there is no way that they could make it run like shit. It would literally have to be made like an indie game to run like shit.

Honestly the format would just be nice. It's especially pleasant playing a real video game on a medium sized portable. We borrowed my in law's switch and it was comfy af playing Zelda at a coffee shop

Except that a lot of indie devs are quite autistic about optimization, and as such could optimize shit way better than GF does.
