the colosseum series could had been for people who wanted just a more difficult pokemon game with a slightly different playset in mind and also they had some interesting ideas in plot and gameplay-wise with the shadow pokemon concept

Only thing i dislike about these games is the wierd as fuck names and strange character models (any buff char ever in those games ) other than that I love them to death.

Agate Village. It's so refreshing to see after all the desert and wasteland, even more so than Phenac. The cliffside caves, Eagun's house built into a tree, the flowing waters, and Relic Forest... Oof...

I want to say Miror B., but here's the thing. Miror B.'s an antagonist/admin. We've had good antagonists in other games. But no protagonist matches Wes to me.

>The absolute badass opening
>No hat or headwear(the goggles don't count) like every other protagonist besides Michael.
>Throws PokeBalls with style and has more style than any member of Team Flare. Michael's Shoryuken throw's good, too.
>Former evil team member instead of some kid starting from scratch.
>The coolest person to ever ride a unicycle.
>Two starter pokemon, even having the nice detail of starting them with a partially complete EXP bar
>Literally has a Ho-oh on his side. Not even the conventional "prove to me you're worthy" *initiate battle* kind of partnership, he just straight up has a Ho-oh that helps him and joins him without a fight.
>Snatches all three legendary dogs without them running away.
>Canonically purifies every pokemon, restoring their sanity compared to completing an encyclopedia for a trinket.
>Name isn't weird like practically everyone else in Orre.
>Is both thug enough to steal your pokemon and nice enough not to take the ones that aren't shadow pokemon.
>Wins over a qt to travel with him the whole game.
>Champion of every Colosseum in the region.
>Has his final battle in a stadium surrounded by an audience instead of some closed off room.

Wes = best.
I've always wondered how he came to join Snagem. I like to think that Gonzap took him in as an orphan, and then he fucked off on his own once he decided he was fed up with the Shadow Pokemon Project. Who knows? Maybe they threatened to turn his Espeon and Umbreon into shadows.
Wes is best anti-hero protagonist.

Agate Village. I love forest towns and Celebi is my favourite Pokemon. Great place and very relaxing.

Duking for being a charming giant with big heart and big moustache.
Eagun because he's Gandalf.
Miror B for being silly as hell.

I remember reading that in another thread and I accept that headcanon.

What I wonder is which of his two Eevee do you think he befriended first? It's impossible that they evolved at the same time, so maybe whichever one he got first since it saw more battle. Umbreon starts out higher leveled, so I'd go with Umbreon.

Completely agree with you on Wes, helps he's not some 10 year old the regional professor took a liking to he actually looks like he's able to take care of himself (especially since he looks like he's in his mid to late teens.)
