I had Stadium 1 & 2 and remember them being fairly easy to play though. I was one of those kids that was a cheating fuck abusing the missing no. glitch for infinite master balls and rare candies, so I don't really know what a legit playthrough is like.

I enjoyed Scykoh's playthrough, he used cart mons from his yellow playthrough IIRC

That's the best way to experience gen 1 and 2, playing them alongside Stadium.

It adds so much to the game, and I'm glad I got introduced to the series back in gen 2 with Silver + Stadium 2, it made me interested in the more deep and competitive aspects of Pokemon right from the start. They're better than future postgame facilities we got imo.
