Have you guys decided which version you are getting? I'm still torn. Had Gold and then Soul Silver. Which one has the best sprites?

Not only is Crystal reserved on the eShop.
But the marker for imported mons is already in Bank.

I'm pretty confident that the reason why they have not released Crystal at the same time is because it had a Pre-GTS cellphone based trade center.
So I'm betting that they're converting that to wifi.
(Possibly allowing for nonJPs to finally legally get access to the Celebi event.)

It literally already has a tag coded in Bank.
How can it not be coming... when it's already been prepared to come?

As for the cell phone thing... it's the only explanation I have for the delay.
Because unlike what >>33570467 says, there are dumb people who would buy the original two.
There's people that bought Green and Red when there was Blue, so there'd be people who buy Gold and Silver when there's Crystal.
They dumb, but as if we didn't know there are dumb people.

Gen 2 is the only gen where I can comfortably use them. The bird in gen 1 have no moves on capture and any later and I demand to save them until I can reset for competitive ones.

Silver has the better sprites. I got gold out of nostalgia. Also, my 3DS Theme code got a network error while downloading, "using" the code without me getting the theme. Thanks Nintendo.

silver's sprites are DYNAMIC

gold's sprites look generic as fuck

although gold's articuno is better, not sure why they didn't use it for crystal's
