I like Wormadam, especially Trash Cloak, because it's really good. You can even use it in competitive!

Forretress is more of a wall. Wormadam (Trash Cloak) is better at dealing damage. Also, there are also the two other cloaks for Wormadam.

If you want to use it for dealing damage then you could just use Scizor or even Mega Scizor to have both the bulk and the offense.

Never really liked or used them, easily forgettable.
But I think I will maybe use the pizza one for a replay in a eventual DP remake, its typing is quite unique and interesting.

Yeah and Scizor can learn SD Bullet Punch which Wormadam can't. Scizor can also learn Roost and Defog.

I've used a Qwilfish in Pokémon Heartgold, it was really good though. Did you mean competitively? If so, maybe, I never used one on Showdown.

Do you know its movepool? Forretress hits harder and is fully capable of making an offensive moveset, with Gyro Ball, EQ, Explosion, and Power Trick. Not to mention it gets Sand Tomb to trap things and Volt Switch to pivot and Rapid Spin to remove hazards.

Anything can be good in the games if you grind enough or stuff it with enough X-items. Regardless, Wormadam isn't even that good in the games, you have vastly superior options for Grass, Steel, and Ground-types. In that regard it's horribly outclassed, indicating that it's actually still pretty shit even for in-game use.

The fact that you compare it to extremely shit Pokemon like Deliberd and Farfetch'd to make it seem better is funny.

First Nuzlocke I ever did in Pokémon X, Wormadam-Trash legit carried me. It's bad in most senses, but I don't care. I love it as well as Burmy.

Can we talk about Seismitoad for a quick second? It's far better than anything already mentioned but it's still under appreciated in my opinion. I adore everything about it aside from lack of recovery (which is a complaint about a LOT of Pokémon, let's be real) and no Waterfall/Liquidation which it should seriously have access to. It's a jack of all trades to me, able to be very versatile. Give the thicc bode tode respect.

You're not getting it. It's like if you used Hypno as a physical attacker and I said Mewtwo was better at that role than it but you complained Mewtwo is better as a Special Attacker. Yes it is, but that doesn't change the point that Mewtwo would outclass it as a physical attacker anyway too.

I'm not telling you that you can't use them, I'm telling you that they're bad choices. My point is that they're not good Pokemon for competitive and that you have better options for in-game use. You can use them, sure, but they're not good. You're insisting that they're decent but they're really not.

The good thing about it is its typing and the fact that it can take hits. It's good offensively, I know because I used it alot of times.

It's not good offensively. There are defensive Pokemon superior to it offensively even in PU.

Look, I get you like Wormadam. That's fine, nothing wrong with that. But see, you're insisting that Wormadam is a good Pokemon. You're downright being stubborn about it. But it's not. It's outclassed in both competitive and in-game use in almost every way and it's stats range from bad to mediocre.

I don't have any issues with you liking it. My sole issue is you insisting it's a good Pokemon when it's extremely obvious to most people that it's not.

What I do is max out its attack and defense, so set up stealth rocks and take on physical attackers (it isn't weak to), and if they use special sweepers/physcal fire/water attackers I can just take them out with endeavor and sucker punch.

I'm curious how much quiver dance helps out any wormadams, if at all. Hopefully with DP remakes coming eventually, it will get a nice stat buff like masquerain did

Ground is pretty bad as well for in game. It's better as a physical attacker even though it only has 79 attack. However it's physical attacks through level up is an astounding bug bite and rock blast. It only becomes less than dead weight when it gets earthquake, which many other pokemon do much better.

Wormadam steel is also literal trash for in game because it's movepool is so shit, not getting iron head until level 47. Hopefully you get the toxic tm early in game. I would say gyro ball, stealth rock, and toxic is its best moveset, but two of those moves are garbage outside of competitive

Have you ever used wormadam in game? Or are you arguing for it being good in competitive. If the former, I'm legitimately curious what movepool you had. Wormadam has one of the worst movepools for fully evolved pokemon

I don't think alot of people forgot Vanilluxe, but they don't use it because "Gen V is bad, its Pokémon are bad and uncreative". Lickilicky is a "forgotten" Pokémon, I never really see people talking about it alot.

I used it plenty of times in the games. When I was on Showdown, my Wormadam's moveset was Infestation, Bug Bite, Iron Head and Toxic.
I remember sending it out against a Sylveon, it staying it and using a Fairy-type move that did like 4% of damage, while I used Infestation, so he couldn't switch.

Dunsparce is not exactly great, but at least it can do some fun things other Pokémon can't do. You can pull off a workable Serene Grace paraflich set with Glare, Headbutt, Zen Headbutt and Rock Slide. It gets access to Coil and Roost, too. It's outclassed by Togekiss, but it's at least fun.

Compare that to Wormadame, which can't really do anything very well.
