Alola forms only make sense for pokémon found in Kanto. Alola is nearest to Kanto, so the divergence that occurs only happens to Kanto mons.

I guess you could hope for Alolan murkrow...

By your own logic then johto forms would make just as much sense as kanto based on distance. We even know a large johto imigrant population came to alola in the past since there is that little johto town. They would have brought pokemon with them

But there all grass/bug type with dry skin as their sole ability. They also can't learn any move with a power above 50.
