Bug type is now immune to all entry hazards except Sticky Web (Spikes, Stealth Rocks, Toxic Spikes) due to the reasoning that bugs climb around and over hazards like that with no issue

Good buff, not good enough, or too good?

Also I guess suggest (de)buffs for other types/moves here

Rototiler boost all grass stats.

Interesting one:
Ghost can't be hit bu physical attacks, but special does more damage to them.
Because of this they also became harder to catch in game.

Fighting types now cannot flinch. Fighting-type with Inner Focus get a different Ability.

Ice type gets 50% _______ Defense boost in hail to match Rock-types.

How does that change the meta?

Fun fact, G5, G6 and G7 have weight "categories."

In G5, it's <50, 50-150 and >150, in kilograms. In G6 it's <50, 50-100, 100-200 and >200, also in kilos. Not sure about G7.

Lighter Pokemon use higher-pitched sounds when dropping into battle, while if the Pokemon is heavy enough, it will cause dust to appear on the circle.

Ice resists water with scald becoming a freeze dry clone. Most ice types learn basic water moves like waterfall and surf.

Steel keeps all its current resistances but is supereffective on nothing but fairy and resisted by more types

Bug resists dark and ghost

Fairy now only resists dragon and is resisted by psychic and grass. Outrage is nerfed to 90 bp

Fighting types are immune to hail. This allows for easier hail teambuilding.

Corrosion makes poison attacks hit steel types

EQ should do max recoil damage but also gains SE on Steel, fighting and normal.
"Permafrost" ability: unique to ice types. HP gain from water attacks, and ice type attacks will do neutral damage to fire types instead of resisting
"fade away" Ghost 0/0/5pp 5 turn immunity to all physical attacks, can only use special moves and ghost type physical moves, all others miss.
I like that fighting type not flinching thing
Ice boost in hail should depend on the pokemon. +10% evasiveness for all ice types, 25% boost to Def/SPDef or Speed, depending on which base stat is higher
Universal stat boost to all pokemon in all generations, amounts decided by total base stat of the final evolution. EX: <300 then a 90 total point boost, >500 then a 20 total point boost, these are just suggested values because I don't know the meta well enough to start talking about BST increases to adjust for power creep beyond "hey it should happen"

Also some abilities and moves that can leave behind new entry hazards, as well as some balancing to entry hazards (significantly reduced damage, all should be 2 layered) like a new fire move that can leave behind hot embers or a grass move that leaves behind vines and reduces speed.

Flying and Levitate are no longer immune to Ground type but to "grounded" moves, like Earthquake. Drill Run, Mud Shot, Bonemerang etc can hit airborne targets.

As we all know Ice desperately needs more defensive buffs. Water resistance is the obvious one but it needs more than that. I'd also add Ground and Fairy resistance and remove the rock weakness. Give Ice types more water coverage since all Water types learn Ice coverage. Besides Hail restores 1/16 HP of any Ice Pokemon. Pokemon with Ice Body restore 1/8 of their health.

Fairy loses Bug resistance. Bug offensively is shitty enough as it is and Fairies need some nerfs.

Retcon Scald into not dealing burn anymore but being able to hit Ice types super-effectively. I'm not kidding, 30% burnrate is infuriating. Fucking bulky Water-types have always been amazing, they don't need this shit to be good.

Steel is the last huge offender here. Removing the Psychic and Bug resistance would help. Either that or maybe even remove its Poison immunity. Seriously just remove some resistances.

Speaking of Poison, Ghost shouldn't resist it. Ghost probably shouldn't resist Bug either though that would be too much of a nerf.

Fire types can't get frozen. Using any type of fire move will automatically unfreeze the user regardless of type.

Bug types are immune to Leech Seed.

Torment disables whatever move you were going to use for a second time in a row. If your opponent is faster than you and torments you then you can't go for a second EQ in a row in that turn for example.

Rapid Spin becomes a Bug-type move so it can hit ghosts.

Run Away lets you escape trapping abilities/moves.

Encore now prevents you from using a Z-move. I don't know how well-known this is but if you're encored you can still choose another move if you have a Z-Crystal for it. For example if you're encored into Thunderbolt you can use Subzero Slammer instead (assuming you have the fitting crystal/move of course).

Same with Thunderbolt and Discharge and Flamethrower and Lava Plume.
Aurora Beam gets a +25 base damage increase buff and Ice beam a -15 debuff.
Hypnosis gets +10 accuracy again, but it doesn't work on Psychic or Dark Pokemon.
Same with Grass Whistle and Bug, Grass and Fairy types.
Sludge Bomb becomes poison Zap Cannon.
Wild Charge becomes Electric Reversal/Flail.
Normal Pokemon are immune to Confuse Ray, Ghost-type Curse, Shadow Tag, Destiny Bond and Mean Look (which is now Ghost type).
Dark pokemon are also immune to Shadow Tag.
Arena Trap doesn't work on Ground-types as well as Fliers.
Whirlwind, Gust and Tornado remove entry hazards from both sides (but don't do anything to leech seed or bindig moves)

This has the wrong meaning because I deleted a sentence about Psychic and Extrasensory: I meant: Swap the Power and Effects of Lava Plume and Flamethrower, as well as Discharge and Thunderbolt. The idea is keeping the most powerful attacks of each type outside the TMs.

Steel is fantastic defensively, but shit offensively. Mainly because both Ice and Rock are terrible types that might as well count as -100 BST when looking at a Pokemon. If Steel types had more varied movesets, I bet a lot wouldn't even run Steel moves besides Bullet Punch / /Meteor Mash.

Give Onix and Steelix more attack to begin with.
Ditch on-trade evolutions or introduce a new method to evolve them without trading such as by level or item usage.
Bring back the bug-poison super effectiveness on both sides from gen 1.
Fairy no longer resists Bug, Poison now super effective against Water, Steel super effective against Electric.
