Let's pretend Gamefreak won't go complete douchefaggot on us with USUM and will actually give us a Battle Frontier with interesting battle facilities. What facilities would you like to see?

I liked the Black Tower / White Treehollow from B2W2. It wasn't exactly a regular facility since the battles were under normal in-game rules, but I'd play the same thing but with the usual flat Lv50 rules.

My dream facility is a pyramid/factory/arcade hybrid.
You explore randomly generated floors one after the other, each with random rules such as "always raining", "inverse battle", "held items locked", and so on, all while choosing your team of three from a random pool at the start, with the option to trade one pokémon with every defeated trainer and finding items around the mazes or buying them in a special shop located between floors with a special currency exclusive to this facility.

I also wouldn't mind something revolving around battle royale to make it more interesting

Like lets say for a heatly amount iof BP you get a ticket to a small island and you can catch starters (either from a certain region or all regions) with hidden abilities. Or mythicals. Or even legit shinies

Replace the shitty Tower clones with a Mt. Battle clone. Somewhere you can use to grind and get some BP, with a "super" mode that's more standard facility fare, with checkpoints every 10 fights up to a point.

Shit I forgot about that.
I was imagining spending points to get shiny pokémon as trophies, kinda like the game corner prizes.
But yeah I agree, having one special wild encounter being a fixed shiny is always cool

If there would be a way to get mythicals in game but you'd need to work hard to get these very rare Pokemon then i think it would be really cool

They'll never gate prizes appealing to the average player such as shinies or other cosmetics behind a pseudo competitive challenge like the various battle facilities.
It only makes sense to have competitive items be the reward for the player that enjoys the battle tower style of gameplay

It was the best method we've ever had to grind exp in the games, applying the level 50 rule to it would ruin that.

How 'bout we make it even more unique and combine your ideas?

Tree hollow/ tower that plays by normal rules EXCEPT, all Pokémon set to level 50, and no items. The difference is you still earn exp. and level up, only the battles still treat your 'mons as if they're set to 50.

It'd be weird, but it would be the best of both worlds.

An improved variant of the Battle Palace. A 3v3 only format where you can't give out the attack commands directly, but you can set the battle tactics for a given turn and use items on your Pokemon. Kind of like Dragon Quest Monsters.
