It is dumb at this point, there is already plenty of different balls for different shit.
What they should do is allow them to be used right from the start without restrictions and make them cost the same as standard balls.

We need more balls of various colors. More darker shades, such as dark grey, purple (non-masterball), and maybe some neon colors. All with special catch effects,of course.

we need full on ball customization in future games.

Keep pokeballs purely aesthetic please: We don't want to give Verlis any merit to "hacked" pokeballs if the balls themselves could affect the pokemons stats in even small ways.

Fuck that, it already annoys me how the balls can act as a tell of what the Pokemon can't have. (IE Any gen 4+/Apricon ball) indicating the mon lacks a gen 3 move tutor.)
