Just bought a 3DS to catch up on all the Pokemon games I've missed over the last decade or so (I haven't played a Pokemon game since HG/SS). I bought Sun to start off with, and damn, I think I'm starting to regret it. The game feels too railroaded. I'll walk the length of a route and immediately have to watch a cutscene or partake in some trial bullshit. It's just not fun. Does the game get any better past Lana's trial? If not, please tell me the previous games from Gen 4 to Gen 6 are not like this.
