1. another 150+ region that can stand on its own feet without pandering
2. a 2nd generation to any of the existing region gen3+
meaning giving us a reigon south of Sinnoh with sinnoh as postgame...or north of unova with unova as postgame... or south/east of kalos with kalos as postgame, you get the idea. of course executed in a more competent way than johtos take on the idea was.
unfortunately, both of those are the least likely to ever happen again.
and in worst case, we will only be getting shoter smaller 70(+20)ish generation that have regionaldex with 5x as many old pokemon and genwun pandering till our heads explode.
