>>33600774Because Braixen's design is WAY better than Delphox's. Braixen has a really good design, and having a twig be her "wand" was a pretty neat touch. She's also really cute, with fur being shaped like a short skirt.
Not only did Delphox's design ruin her cuteness, she also looks like a traffic cone when not viewed from the sides.
Japan REALLY likes their cutemon. So do I. Also, Braixen being Serena's main 'mon also might have helped with her popularity.
I always hoped for Fennekin/Braixen to appear in Pokken since they were by far my favorite gen 6 'mon, but with Fennekin already as an assistmon, I didn't really expect anything other than Greninja to be the playable.
Needless to say, I was ecstatic the day they announced Braixen's inclusion as a playable character. I honestly couldn't believe they made her playable, especially with the massive Greninja shilling Game Freak/TPC was doing everywhere else.
I'll be maining her and Gardevoir in DX, just like I did in the original.
