I hope they vastly improve the Island Scan thing, and maybe also add a post-game Safari Zone. They're not added to the Alola Dex so it'd be nice if we could get like 200 other pokemon on top of these 400.

not all people catch the strongest and most competitively viable pokemon, a good example is my friend who likes togetics design more than togekiss so she keeps it that way until she finishes the game.
as for a vgc player like me, more pokemon would always mean more variety, probably not in a live tournament but surely in battlespot.
