The Ultra Space that was populated by Nihilego.

There's a lot of implications from both this and the Mystery Files a few months back that every Ultra Beast comes from their own Ultra Space pocket dimension.

ウツロイド (Utsuroido; Uturoid/Nihilego)

The naming equivalent going by Nihilego being the English name of Uturoid would be "Sea of Nihilism".

Wait I just realized, that's literally Poni Wilds. The word used for "plain" is a bit unusual one, and it's used in the Japanese name for the Poni Wilds. The shape of the area in the card and position of the sign and wooden bridge lines up right.

Why would they necessarily be their own pocket dimensions? Ultra Space could have lots of different habitats that each UB naturally inhabits.

This isn't unusual for the TCG, quite a few mega evolutions were available exclusively through promo boxes. That's also the case for some of the UBs, at least for now.

When in doubt, assume GF took the lazy way out: we'll visit Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, and Kartana's Ultra Space. Nihilego, Guzzlord, and 5 new UBs have more or less than same roles as the original 7 in SM.
