Same in gen 1 with Pidgeot. I don't hate any of the starters, but gen 1's are so uninteresting to me. Don't get me wrong, Pidgeot is a pretty damn simple design, but it's just so pretty and elegant. I also can't get enough of that weird gen 1 sprite where it looks like it's made of wood
