Nah, I actually like it. That match showed that Ash has what it takes and deserves to win. He was the only trainer who gave him even a single loss, never mind that he also routed with Latios. Darkrai swept the finals without a loss so it shows Ash's quality.

Cameron, however, was a fucking joke and insult.

Harrison was legitly the only fair league rival against Ash, because even if he did win by a hair's length in the Charizard-vs-Blaziken fight, his Blaziken was so badly injured that it couldn't be used in the next match and ultimately costed Harrison to lose as well.

It's not forgivable because a full day of Team Rocket giving him shit got him stuck with a gimped team and an unfair fight. Then Charizard decides to go to sleep in front of a massive crowd and skips out on the later rounds of the league even though its ego meant everything to it.

Man, it just looks so forced. He kept smiling as it was nothing even though all his effort to go along an entire continent, colect 8 badges and pass such hard times.
