The floor is covered with coral of green, red, orange, of all kinds. Shimmering Wishiwashi dart around with nervous energy, tiny Luvdisc float along behind a lumbering Alomomola, and Remoraid swim towards the open ocean. A bright red Octillary uses its tentacles to reach down underneath the coral, and it is greeted by an annoyed Relicanth. The Lanturn swims along, oblivious to these common sights that dazzle new divers. There are greater, more impressive vistas to observe.
It knows where it's going, and while you can use the harness to guide it one way or another, it always returns to its path. Wailmer and Wailord slowly float beside you, mouth agape to take in plankton and water. They speak to the Lanturn with long drones, and it responds with the flashing of its light. Schools of Wishiwashi can be seen patrolling the ocean, quickly avoiding the wandering tentacles of Tentacool and Tentracruel. They reach out to grab any Wishiwashi straggling behind, but it seems to be an empty gesture.
The Lanturn swims along. You look down and see the abyss below. The Lanturn can feel your hesitation, but it knows you trust it. It dives deeper.
