I was excited as FUCK for XY, the games turned out okay and the post game shit.

I was even more excited for ORAS, but then Gamefreak revealed literally everything before release and didnt include battle frontier. This killed all the hype afterwards.

I was hyped about USUM because it looked promising, but it turned out to be even more shit than XY.

I won't fall for Gamefreaks shit ever again. Besides, they didn't even show anything until now that would make me be excited about USUM. It's just minigames i dont care about.
Bring out post-game facilities, long dungeons and Johto-Alola forms, THEN we can talk.

Honestly, looking at how much more polished the trials seem to be in the trailer, I think the theory is right. They then added some story changes on top

SM are still perfectly fine despite what much of vp says, but it doesn't mean it wasn't incomplete

Until we get official prove, this is just a theory and you can tell it how often you like, it dosn´t become true.

I admit, gen7 has some story parts I would have played in SuMo, but this dosn´t mean this games were unfinished.

We got a story, even if it wasn´t the best one and we could play it for more than 20 hours, so the game development has been finished. USUM is a special edition and like every time, they improve the well known region with more content, more catchable Pokémon, new forms and new features, so there is no difference between gen7 and every other gen with a special edition or a sequel.

Stop talking about this theory as if it was a fact, because that´s not true.

The thing is the prequel games weren't actually complete but still far better than whatever the fuck XY and SM were. The sequel games were just improved versions.

Neither BW2 nor the Remakes are complete versions of the mainline games in their generation. BW2 are sequels, and certainly superior games to BW, but it's not like you're getting the same thing but some more like with third versions. HGSS and ORAS may also arguably be superior to their mainline counterparts in the gen, but they're also separate games from them as well.

The real shitty thing about USM is that it should've only just been one version. There's really no reason for it to be two. With BW2, there was caviat that each acted as sequel to the their original counterpart, which allowed you to buy B/B2 or W/W2 and get both legendaries as well as importing your memory stuff to connect them more. US and UM are just going to flat out replace S and M, but unlike Crystal, Emerald, or Platinum, don't just combine the aspects of both original versions into one like before. Though there's so little distinction between SM plotwise that I suppose it doesn't matter.

Besides, people argue ORAS was rushed and unfinished too, so it's not like XY ever got a complete version anyway.

The prequels on their own are still pretty decent unlike the shit that came out the last half decade. ORAS is something I did enjoy though because it was RS in 3D mode, competitive play was mastered, and the Battle Maison was pretty difficult while HGSS was pretty great despite the repeating case of sever easiness.

US and UM are just easy cash grabs because they blatantly shit themselves during SM's production so everyone can buy the refurbished but still very disappointing pair of sequels.
