God fucking dammit, I hate GF so fucking much! I know this shit is bothering more than it should but that's so fucking boring and useless. It's really pissing me off so much it ruined my day.
People saying "it's the same thing as Kyurem", no, you're wrong because Kyurem keeps its own type and that changes things more than it seems. And really, what they should have done here was either:
a) Make Necrozma Psychic/Rock from the beginning (If Nihilego, which is made of glass, can be Rock-type, then so can a Prism) and keep that type for all 3 forms (like Kyurem) or
b) Give them different types (I don't care what types but give them something so they could diferentiate themselves from Solgaleo and Lunala). I liked that theory about these forms being Necrozma using light projections of Solgaleo/Lunala. That way, they would have an excuse to give them different types.
Now, what will happen, depending on these forms' stats and if they get the other two's abilites or keep Prism Armor, will be 1 of 2 things:
- Necrozma's forms are so much stronger offensively than Solgaleo and Lunala, that the original pair becomes obsolete, specially if they also get the other two's abilities (though one could say Prism Armor is better than Fullmetal Body).
- Necrozma's forms aren't that much stronger and, if they keep Prism Armor (Shadow Shield is so much better), together with Necrozma's shallow movepool, the original pair is still better and Necrozma continues to be shit, defeating the purpose of these forms in the first place.
There's also the possibility that one of Necrozma's forms is better than the absorbed legendary while the other is worse, but it still makes one pokémon of the pair become obsolete.
