Catch a Geodude or trade Drowzee for Machop. Sweep the gym and move on. Alternatively catch Gastly and use Hypnosis/Curse.

Nigga I'm not gonna catch shitmon 1 and shitmon 2 just to arificially make Whitney's gym harder. It's an easy gym, if I didn't use Gatr I would just used Machop or Geodude. But I've done that before, so I aimed for different mons this time around.

Same as I've always done. In Gold and Silver, HG and SS (but with Flame Wheel). I literally have never understood this "hur miltank is hard" meme. I've never once, in nearly 20 years, ever had a problem with Whitney.

I'm surprised people barely mention Nidorino. Thing gets double kick and leer and makes Miltank a cake walk, while at the same time evolving in one the most versatile mons in the game.
