>>33624191The campaign is probably one of the best imo, with a great map and EXCELENT pacing
Every city was do a mission (ussualy plasma related), then beat gym leader, and continue. The distribution was great and the dificulty was just rigth, and if you had problems, you can just grind Audinos to get some extra levels
The rivals are one of the best of the series. Cheren is a character obsessed with getting strong, but that doesn't know what to do with his strength, while Bianca is the opposite, a character than would like to get strong to prove her father wrong, but doesn't have the talent to do so.
Sure, there is a scene where N literally tells us ther character themes, but 1.- This is a kid aimed to children and may be a bit complicated all of this to them 2.- It doesn't do it in a way that makes me feel like the game is treating me like an idiot (unlike XY). In fact, that piece of exposition help build N's character.
And about N: He was raised into the belief that Pokemon aren't happy with humans, and must be separated, and durin his journey, he mets you. Your character clashes with his beliefs of how the world is, and starts doubting his father. Then the legendary battle occurs, where N figths for his ideals to create a better world, meanwhile figth against him to show him the truth he has been hiding from himself (and why Pokemon Black is canon)
And in the end, when N discovers the truth, but is incapable to face against his father. This is a bittersweet end, because it feels like, after all this time, none of the characters arc are fulfilled... until BW2 cames along and finishes them all.
The postgame is definetly lackimg compared to most third gamesbut is by far better than every other first versions (probably because this is a completed game instead of an attempt of making a third cashgrab). [1/2]
