The amazing Bug types (Volcarona, Galvantula and Scolipede lines), Eelektross, Swoobat, Gigalith, Hydreigon, Musharna, Krookodile, Cofagrigus, Archeops, Zoroark, Reuniclus, Chandelure, Haxorus, Braviary, even Zebstrika, these are all Pokémon I immediately took a liking to and still do to this day. But you're right, when I think about it, plenty of the designs in gen V I could take or leave, specially, unfortunately, the starters.
