Why the fuck are there no good grass types in Gen 2?

Everything either has a shit movepool or has pisspoor stats.

I blame it on Giga Drain not being available until fuckin Kanto, but the mons are a little at fault to.

Because it's got shit-all for STAB and because gen 2 hates Grass-types. You're pretty much fighting an uphill battle and the three things Grass gets rid of (Ground, Rock, and Water) can be handled really easily without it.

Jumpluff is only useful as the fastest sleep powder. But may as well use Jynx if you want a fast sleep inducer, since she only has a little less speed in exchange for being able to do other things
